iGino One Review: Simple, Powerful Vibrator Could Change the Standard for Portable Vibes

iGino One Review: Simple, Powerful Vibrator Could Change the Standard for Portable Vibes

iGino One is the latest in a line of sex toys that want to revolutionize the way we cum. Admittedly, its proprietary “Vibramoove” technology is very intriguing; it moves side-to-side and vibrates. The idea behind iGino One is that it mimics the movement of a woman’s fingers when she’s pleasuring herself. There’s a lot of promise in this discreet little package. Fortunately, it lives up to that promise… mostly.

The iGino One’s sleek pink and white ombre box instantly draws the eye. Its understated yet attractive feminine design is very reminiscent of high end make up containers. They really went above the norm with their inclusion of accessories, which is good. In the box, there’s Instructions, iGino One, charger and, curiously enough, a small plastic baggy filled with one large flower shaped foam nub and three thin oval nubs.

Once you unwrap your new toy, the iGino One surprises with its shape. It looks almost exactly like one of those handheld camcorders but… for your vag! I’d definitely call it discreet because, until you take the top off, it is indistinguishable from so many iPods. It’s larger than most portable sex toys but it’s got a small profile, which is easy to hold. The design is very simple, clean with a logo on the front and power info on the rear. It is rimmed in hot pink, which may throw some people off but I liked the way it looks.

The controls are a simple on/off power switch located on the right side of iGino One.

Under the removable cap, we get to the fun bits. The main pleasure source of the iGino One is the large ABS plastic pleasure nub. It’s rounded at the tip, smooth and colored the same Malibu pink as the surrounding case.

Now, let’s get into how this thing actually feels on my pussy. Fair warning, when turning the iGino One on brace yourself there is no adjustment to the speed or power. This is a small angry version of the Hitachi is terms of strength; it’s forceful, it’s almost screaming, “you will come or go numb,” and that works for me. The smooth plastic is an excellent conductor of iGino One’s strong vibes. The vibes are visible and loud, the motor is like a small lawnmower.

Using the large foam flower-shaped tip sends waves of vibration over the vulva area is heaven. The tip slides over the plastic pleasure nub, providing a myriad of sensations. The iGino One, by itself, is an incredibly strong toy; without the foam nub the vibes provided will be intense and, for those who require more buildup, perhaps unbearable. The foam nub dampens the vibes, allowing for a more relaxing experience. Keep in mind the vibes will still be stronger than the norm but pleasurably so.

When it comes to technology, the biggest problem is usually they battery. With iGino One, the charge is quite dependable and long lasting. It required a recharge after four days of regular use. Also, the battery never died while in use. Even if it did, the bottom nestles a flip out USB charger. That charger is useful; I can’t sing its praises enough. Since iGino is discreet, you could charge it anywhere. But once plugged up and charging, the clear hinge of the USB charger glows with a bright but soft, cool LED white.

Turn offs

I can’t help but wish there were at setting options other than ‘death by orgasm’ and off. This power really overshadowed the back and forth "Vibramoove" feature; you could hardly tell while in the haze of the vibrations.

Claims of a skin-like finish, left much to be desired.

The foam nub can’t be sterilized and doesn’t stay odor free. More additions to the foam nubs provided would have increased the variety of the massager.

iGino One is too damn loud. I’m not trimming the bushes, it should not sound like I’m doing lawn work. Then again, it is a bit quieter than the Hitachi.

At $100 this is a big investment.

The ABS plastic is easy to clean but iGino One is not waterproof, which makes cleaning a bit of a hassle.

Bottom line

iGino One is new. It’s trying out a form and functions that hasn’t been experimented with before and the results are different from your normal back-of-the-closet vibe. Not everything works as well as one would hope but it does the job well and creatively. With a bit of refinement, iGino One could very well change the standard for portable vibes. My pussy and I look forward to the change of the guard.
